Rank

Privacy policy

Effective date: 11 October 2026

Rank (com.arrrank.app) is a programming notebook developed by Mikhail Podgurskiy. Contact: kmmbvnr@gmail.com.

Your notebooks

Rank runs your programs and stores notebooks and preferences on your device. You do not need an account. The app does not automatically upload your code or notebooks to the developer. Android may back up app data according to your device and Google account settings.

You can import and export notebooks with the system file picker. Your chosen storage provider handles exported files under its own privacy policy.

Optional feedback

Send feedback opens a report on GitHub. Before opening it, Rank shows the information that will be included: your description, app version, build revision, Android version, device model and browser or WebView version. Notebook contents are not attached automatically. You review and submit the report on GitHub, which requires a GitHub account. Submitted issues are public, so do not include secrets or personal information.

We use reports to respond to questions and fix problems. GitHub handles account and website data under the GitHub privacy statement. Public reports remain available until removed; contact us to request removal of information in a report, and use GitHub's controls for your own account and posts.

Microphone and voice input

Where supported, voice input starts only when you choose it and grant microphone access. Speech recognition is provided by the browser or device service and may send audio to that provider for transcription under its privacy policy. Rank inserts the returned text into your notebook and does not store audio recordings. Your system keyboard may provide its own voice input independently of Rank.

Permissions and external services

Notifications and a foreground service show and control a program you choose to run. Microphone and audio permissions support optional voice input. Network access allows you to open external links and feedback. The release Library examples are bundled with the app.

Rank has no advertising or analytics SDKs, does not use an advertising identifier and does not sell personal data. External websites you choose to open, including GitHub, handle network and account data under their own policies.

Deleting data

You can delete individual notebooks in Rank. Clearing app storage or uninstalling Rank removes local app data. Exported files and system backups are managed separately through your storage provider and Android settings. We cannot recover or delete notebooks stored only on your device.

To request deletion of information you submitted in a feedback report, email kmmbvnr@gmail.com with the report URL and the information you want removed. We will review the request and remove information under our control. GitHub manages its own account records and retained copies under its privacy policy.

Audience and changes

Rank is intended for teenagers aged 13 and older and adults. It is not directed at children under 13. We will update this page and its effective date if the app's data practices change.
